Why Naturally Compliant
I first became aware of Naturally Compliant while attending an Environmental Clerk of Works foundation course at the University of the West of Scotland, where I also met Simon. As my career progressed into lead consultancy, it felt like a natural step to move into a senior role within a specialist consultancy aligned with my values.

What I do
As a Senior Environmental Consultant, I work on nationally significant infrastructure projects, providing environmental assurance, reviewing environmental management documentation, and liaising with stakeholders across complex delivery teams. I have worked on major subsea cable schemes, including one of the longest cable routes within UK territorial waters.

What motivates me
I am motivated by delivering high-quality environmental consultancy on complex projects. For me, good environmental practice is about achieving high standards through practical, defensible solutions that have a direct impact on project delivery. I focus on professionalism, rigour and continual improvement.

Outside of work
I have spent time in rural Transylvania working with subsistence farming communities, supporting immersive learning experiences for students. This has shaped how I understand stewardship, sustainability and responsible land management.
